Saturday, October 3 - Tennessee Toe-OFF
Time: Preregistration 7:30 a.m. Race begins at 9 a.m.
Location: The Cove at Concord Park in Farragut, TN
Cost: $1 per climb up the climbing wall; $5 per 30 minutes in kayak or canoe (Proceeds go to the Tennessee Toe-OFF Trot)
Info: The Tennessee Toe-OFF Trot is a fund raising event to benefit children and adults within the state of Tennessee that are in need of orthoses but have little or no insurance coverage. In 2008 we raised $3,800. This year, we’d like to top that number!
The main event is our 3 mile fun run/walk in which Beth Deloria will be our premier runner. Beth suffered a back injury and developed foot drop (partial paralysis) in her leg and has continued to run the Boston Marathon using her Toe-OFF orthosis.
In addition to the fun run/walk, River Sports Outfitters is donating the use of its climbing wall, canoes, and kayaks to be rented and the donations will go into our fund.
Climbing and Paddling will be from 10-3pm. A $1 donation will be made for each climb up the wall and $5 donation for 30min of paddling a canoe or kayak. All proceeds will go to the Tennessee Toe-OFF Trot.
In this event, we encourage all levels of skill to participate and have fun with us.

INTRODUCING CROCKETT MOBILE
PROSTHETIC SERVICES
Crockett would like to announce a new division of our business... CROCKETT MOBILE PROSTHETIC SERVICES. This new division of our company will service the nursing home or homebound patients in our area. This service is designed for those patients who are currently receiving home health care, are homebound, or in a nursing facility.  Our first annual Toe-Off Trot was a great success. We were able to raise $3,500 to go into a fund to help children of the Knoxville area, who need an orthoses, but have little or no insurance, obtain the bracing they need. Thank You to all of you who participated by running, walking, or being a sponsor. We look forward to continuing this new tradition with our second annual Toe-Off Trot sometime in the late summer/early fall. We hope everyone who came out for our first annual Toe-Off Trot will come out again and bring some friends!!
